Our customer had just had their beautiful original period sash windows renovated in their Victorian home, so they wanted to add some privacy whilst maintaining the stylish look of the bay window. It was important that the shutters complimented the styling of the original window.
Starting off with a bare room gave this customer a blank canvas to work from to dress their 3 separate windows that form the bay window and seating area. They had the opportunity to use the shutters as the starting point for their interior design look and feel.
The study in a modern Lichfield home (pictured) was pretty uninviting. Original dark wood window frames and heavy patterned curtains created a drab environment – one that could only be transformed by the right window shutters.
